Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for custom-manufactured products
Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into fabrication-ready drawings
Prepare and revise drawings to support CNC cutting, laser fabrication, and assembly processes
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
Update and maintain CAD files, drawings, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Follow company CAD standards, templates, and documentation practices
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or technical degree in CAD Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
Hands-on CAD drafting experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environment
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurements
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production-driven setting
