The role involves overseeing all fund accounting, financial reporting, and control functions across the firm’s investment vehicles, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities
Oversee fund accounting for multiple investment vehicles (capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, waterfalls, carried interest)
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage and review work performed by third-party fund administrators
Prepare and review investor capital statements and performance reporting
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings (K-1s, PF, AIFMD, etc. as applicable)
Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Support fund launches, closings, and wind-downs
Partner with deal teams on transaction accounting and complex structures
Manage and mentor fund accounting staff (if applicable)
Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
3+ years of progressive fund accounting experience or public accounting
Experience within Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund, or alternative investments
