Presales Engineer

They are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to serve as the technical authority during the sales cycle, working closely with sales leadership and internal engineering teams to architect solutions and advise customers on system deployment.

Responsibilities

Work alongside sales leadership to understand customer objectives and architect right-fit modular or containerized infrastructure solutions
Lead technical discovery conversations and translate customer needs into scalable system designs
Deliver solution walk-throughs, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
Provide detailed technical input for RFPs, RFIs, and proposal documentation
Partner with internal engineering teams to confirm feasibility, performance, and delivery requirements
Advise customers on system deployment, integration, expansion paths, and operational considerations
Act as a trusted technical partner throughout the buying process, helping customers make confident decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting
Strong understanding of data center systems, including power infrastructure, thermal management, networking, rack systems, and modular design approaches
Familiarity with data center standards and best practices (e.g., ASHRAE guidelines, Tier classifications, uptime methodologies)
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders
Experience contributing to formal bid responses and technical documentation
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements

Preferred

Exposure to high-density or liquid-cooled data center environments
