Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire: Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists across SW, FW, EE, data engineering, and data science disciplines
Strategic Development: Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define and prioritize Airside 4.0 use cases and technical roadmaps
Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to productization and deployment of airside solutions
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore emerging technologies and methodologies in digitalization, IoT, AI/ML, and edge computing
Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional activities with other R&D teams, product owners, and external partners to ensure successful integration and delivery
Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical guidance, code and design reviews, and ensure best practices in architecture, quality, and security
Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and champion agile methodologies
Customer Focus: Engage with internal and external customers to gather feedback and ensure solutions deliver tangible value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in technology development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role
Proven track record in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects (preferably in IoT, sensing, data science, and/or aviation domains)
Strong expertise in at least two of the following: software engineering, firmware development, electronics engineering, data engineering, or data science
Experience with agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and the aviation industry
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
