Responsibilities

Manage the people responsible for the development, readiness, and manufacturing performance of compute, storage, and networking hardware through the supply chain lifecycle at Oracle's manufacturing partners
Assign and monitor work of staff, providing technical support and direction
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team
Works collaboratively and builds reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers
Enhances Oracles competitive advantage by anticipating customer needs and applies best practices and creative solutions to drive efficiency and productivity within the team
Identifies and acts on opportunities for new or improved products, processes, or systems
Demonstrates leadership by motivating and inspiring others to align their actions with the larger organizational goals
Deals with complexity as shown by tactical decision making, and as demonstrated by the ability to make decisions willingly, even when facing uncertainty
Enables execution as measured by the ability to know the business and understands metrics/key performance indicators required by self and team to deliver results

Required

10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or related field
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Experience managing a global team of Supplier Quality Engineers
Experience in ensuring manufacturing partners produce high quality compute, storage, and networking hardware
Ability to navigate an ambiguous and fast-paced organization
Strong communication skills
Ability to challenge the status quo
Experience in managing the development, readiness, and manufacturing performance of hardware through the supply chain lifecycle
Experience with new site qualifications and surveillance audits
Ability to monitor and report quality KPIs at manufacturing sites
Experience driving corrective actions and continuous improvement of quality and capacity performance
Ability to assign and monitor work of staff, providing technical support and direction
Experience in selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel
Ability to work collaboratively and build reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners, and customers
Ability to anticipate customer needs and apply best practices and creative solutions
Experience identifying and acting on opportunities for new or improved products, processes, or systems
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to deal with complexity and make tactical decisions
Ability to understand metrics/key performance indicators required to deliver results
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
