Hybrid Cloud Services Manager

Responsibilities
Manages, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of Information Technology professionals
Provides leadership and guidance to IT staff, setting goals and expectations
Coaches team members on technical skills and professional growth
Fosters a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages innovation and accountability
Directs hybrid cloud operations across Azure and other providers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
Oversees day-to-day management of hybrid cloud environments
Implements best practices for performance optimization, cost control, and security compliance
Ensures seamless integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms
Oversees enterprise networking initiatives, including fiber infrastructure planning and deployment
Leads design and implementation of network upgrades and expansions
Coordinates fiber projects to support high-speed connectivity for government facilities
Ensures network reliability, redundancy, and security across all sites
Leads complex IT projects, aligns priorities with organizational goals, and ensures timely delivery
Manages project scope, timelines, and resources for major technology initiatives
Applies project management methodologies to keep projects on track and within budget
Communicates progress and risks to stakeholders and leadership
Manages budgets, funding allocations, and vendor contracts to maximize value and accountability
Develops and monitors annual and project-specific budgets
Negotiates vendor agreements and service-level commitments
Ensures financial decisions align with organizational priorities and compliance standards
Partners with directors, managers, and end-users to align technology solutions with organizational needs
Engages stakeholders to understand operational challenges and technology requirements
Translates business needs into technical solutions that improve efficiency and service delivery
Builds trust and collaboration across departments
Drives adoption of modern platforms, tools, and practices to enhance service delivery
Champions digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies
Promotes automation, cloud-native solutions, and best practices for IT service management
Ensures staff training and readiness for new tools and processes
Performs related work as assigned
Responds to evolving organizational needs and special projects
Provides technical expertise and leadership during emergencies or critical incidents
Supports continuous improvement efforts across IT operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the job
Six years of related IT experience, where at least two years must be in a supervisory/managerial capacity, which includes the supervision of others
Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
