Responsibilities

Drive sales and margin through the development and implementation of strategic sales and merchandise execution plans
Define, influence and lead strategies as the primary advocate of the FOB between Central, Region, Division and Stores
Lead and Develop Merchandise Coordinator talent in partnership with Store Managers/DVPs ensuring they are knowledgeable and strategic business partners maximizing their potential
Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all localization and Corporate strategies are maximized to drive growth
Perform other duties as necessary
As the FOB subject matter expert, develop long range plans and tactical in-season analysis; Direct Merchandise Execution to support sales growth
Lead Coordinators to oversee the execution of corporate strategy while balancing localization
Critical partner to RDOS on Talent Development and in store Merchandise Execution
Influence, support and drive locational opportunities, develop hindsights and lead MIC partnership
Develop and implement new and innovative FOB strategies – challenge the status quo with forward thinking initiatives
Collaborate with Regional Localization team on location initiatives to align Region, Division, Store
Key collaborator in Floor Planning and Shop Development/CapEx process by partnering with Division, Region, and key vendors on decision making. Partner on SAPA/Square footage collection process as needed
Serve as Store advocate through hindsight/styleout process on assortment opportunities to maximize in-season and preseason – influence Omni Planning Teams, Vendor Partners, Stores and Field partners to adopt and support
Shop and analyze competition assortments; emerging trends - share insights with appropriate partners and incorporate into strategic plans as needed
Actively participate in Region Visits and Deep Dives
Responsible for the growth and development of the Merchandise Coordinator team; provide performance feedback in the moment and through quarterly check in process
Develop Coordinators on working knowledge of all Omni related functions and impact to business–BOPS, BOSS, Fulfillment, IFR and Speed to Ship
Role Model customer centric behavior when in stores; focus Coordinators on use of all available product knowledge training; Develop Coordinator's ability to drive FOB specific customer experience (NPS)
Communicate clear, concise FOB priorities and strategies and direction to Region and Division partners
Communicate execution needs for all major marketing events
Be a resource for guidance, advice and partnerships with the Field, Central and Vendor community
Establish consistent communication cadence with RDOS/DVP, making use of virtual tools as needed
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Bachelor's Degree
5-7 years related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and presentation skills
Strong track record with collaboration and partnering Senior Leadership to set strategies and direction to improve short and long-term performance
Understanding of retail math and strong analytical skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to influence others and resolve conflict
Is highly collaborative and builds partnerships with all levels of management
Effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and all levels of internal and external business partners
Ability to effectively plan and execute strategies
Ability to monitor and maneuver workflow to achieve priorities
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Ability to travel to stores and central offices as business need requires, approximately 60%+ of the time
Strong leadership profile, strong management skills and excellent negotiation skills
Ability to develop and empower a team
