Responsibilities

Sell and cash horse racing wagers accurately and efficiently
Process IRS Mutual tickets, complete W-2G information, and validate and follow the process for tracking systems
Prepare simulcast rooms for daily activities, including setting decoders to the proper channels
Print and sell simulcast programs and racing forms
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Adhere to all racing regulations and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required

High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience in a customer service or cash handling role
Working knowledge of horse racing wagering, including common and exotic betting types
Knowledge of Title 31 tracking systems
Completion of Title 31 and Title 26 training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
