Responsibilities
Underwrite potential multifamily acquisition opportunities using detailed Excel financial models
Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, market data, and capital expenditure budgets
Prepare investment memos and summary materials for internal review
Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling
Perform market research including rent comps, sales comps, demographic and economic trends
Support broker relationships by reviewing OM materials and providing feedback
Assist in evaluating submarket dynamics, competitive properties, and positioning strategies
Assist with due diligence coordination including document review, third-party reports, and data tracking
Support closing processes by preparing schedules, trackers, and lender materials
Coordinate with legal, lenders, brokers, and internal stakeholders
Partner with Asset Management to ensure underwriting assumptions align with business plans
Support transition of closed assets into Asset Management
Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting models, templates, and internal processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in multifamily real estate, private equity, investment banking, or related analytical role
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, cash flow modeling)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Direct experience underwriting multifamily assets
Familiarity with Dealpath, CoStar, Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms
Experience supporting transactions through closing
Interest in long-term career growth within a real estate investment platform
