Mid, Senior LevelArizona State University is seeking part-time Faculty Associates to teach and develop courses for the Biological Data Science Master’s program. The role involves teaching graduate courses and contributing to the academic community through innovative research and education.
Professional Training & Coaching
Responsibilities
Teach upper and/or lower-division courses to undergraduate and graduate students, in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats
Prepare syllabus, lectures and class materials, exams, and grade assignments and exams
Maintain regular availability to students including office hours as appropriate to course modality
Monitor student success and regularly respond to student academic issues
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in a related field
Preferred
Experience in teaching or developing graduate-level courses in-person or online in related fields
Experience using online learning platforms and developing interactive course materials, including interactive videos, lectures, and assignments for online courses
Experience in managing graduate courses
Experience teaching or relevant industry experience, including working with profit or non-profit institutions
Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with students from a wide variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including first-generation college students
Evidence of teaching excellence e.g., student evaluations, syllabi, peer observation, annual evaluations, etc
