Responsibilities

End-to-End Hackathon Orchestration: Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of internal and external hackathons
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, engineering teams, and marketing. You must be able to translate technical milestones into executive-level updates
Developer Experience (DX) Champion: Design an intuitive and frictionless journey for participants, ensuring they have the right documentation, APIs, and support to build successfully
AI Evangelism: Curate challenges and themes focused on Generative AI and Agentic Workflows, helping participants leverage cutting-edge tools
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure hackathon outcomes align with the company's long-term technical roadmap

Required

Education: MBA or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of experience specifically planning and conducting large-scale hackathons or developer-centric events
Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of developer workflows. You don't need to be a full-time coder, but you must 'speak developer' fluently to provide high-quality DX
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and inspire grassroots developers alike

Preferred

AI Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity or working knowledge of the Generative AI landscape (LLMs, prompt engineering) and Agentic AI (autonomous agents, multi-agent systems)
Community Building: Experience in growing developer communities or managing Open-Source initiatives
Analytical Mindset: Ability to track and report on KPIs such as participant retention, project viability, and ROI
