Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Grady Hunt PLLC, a boutique corporate and real estate law firm, is seeking a part-time qualified commercial real estate paralegal to assist with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. The role involves reviewing title commitments, coordinating with various stakeholders, and preparing necessary documents for real estate transactions.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Review title commitments, including requirements and exception documents, surveys and lien searches, prepare memos and title objection letters setting forth material title, survey and lien search issues to be addressed as part of due diligence
Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lien search vendors and municipalities to resolve matters identified during review
Prepare and order estoppel certificates
Assist with preparation of additional title-related documents, including easements, reciprocal easement agreements, declarations of covenants and restrictive covenants
Assist with entity formations
Prepare closing checklists, critical dates timelines and closing binders
Prepare and review conveyance documents, including all types of deeds, bills of sale, assignments and closing affidavits
Review and analyze entity due diligence documents, including UCC, judgment and litigation searches
Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, and in using Windows-based software

Required

Must be a resident of the State of Florida
Willing to attend in person meetings in South Florida approximately 4 times a year

At least 10 years' experience reviewing title commitments and surveys and closing commercial purchases, sales and loans
Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, and in using Windows-based software

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
Paralegal Certification
Equivalent experience will be considered
