Responsibilities
Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse through team supervision, training and coaching to improve performance
Supervisor must be available 24 hours to cover all shifts. ( Associates and Supervisors will call you for assistance ) Responsibilities are spread over 3 shifts
Supervise site audit processes, including receiving, put away, picking, export and ad hoc auditing
Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
Report audit results, maintain any required reports
Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
Adhere to the GXO 5S program
Maintain a clean environment at all times
Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
Implement continuous improvement action plans
Qualification
Required
2 years of relevant work experience
To meet government and federal law program requirements which requires U.S. citizen status
Active Secret Level Security Clearance issued by the U.S. State Department or willingness to obtain it
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends. Must be available 24 hours to cover all shifts and receive calls for assistance
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
2 years of managerial/supervisory experience
Experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance and reporting
2 years of export shipment/ITAR/Classified knowledge experience
Hazmat and Dangerous Goods certification or ability to attain associated certifications
Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
