Responsibilities
Producing accurate, competitive bid proposals for civil construction projects
Supporting the full estimating lifecycle from reviewing plans and performing takeoffs to evaluating risk, pricing labor and materials, and supporting bid strategy
Working closely with senior estimators, project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure bids reflect realistic means and methods while protecting margins
Qualification
Required
5+ years in civil construction, including 2+ years in estimating
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, AGTEK, Bluebeam, Primavera, and MS Office
Strong understanding of construction means & methods, cost analysis, and bid risk
Willingness to travel for site visits and preconstruction meetings
Preferred
Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid
