Aircraft Inspector III
DPP is seeking an Aircraft Inspector III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Hagerstown, Maryland. In this role, you will inspect aircraft and their systems to ensure airworthiness and compliance with specifications and regulations, while identifying breaches of airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities
Inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations
Identify any breach of standards for airworthiness
Perform in-process inspections, final inspection of minor work (non-337 form), and approval for return to service of minor work (non-337 form)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience
Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts
Understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures
Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
Understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations
Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
