2026 Summer Intern: Software Engineer
Spectrum is a leading connectivity company that provides superior communication and entertainment products. They are seeking a motivated rising senior student for a full-time summer internship program, where interns will gain real-world experience in software development and participate in professional development activities.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced team members to contribute to software development projects
Apply object-oriented programming skills to create efficient and robust code
Gain hands-on experience with Java and contribute to the development of Java-based applications
Perform thorough unit testing for requirements and code coverage
Participate in code reviews
Gain Experience working in DevOps model
Perform analysis/investigation to determine root cause of identified code/data issues
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Participate in continuous performance improvement sessions to discuss opportunities to improve processes or standards
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 - May 2027
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
