Senior LevelTuskegee University is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will focus on teaching veterinary students and graduate veterinarians, while also providing clinical service and engaging in research and community outreach.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction to veterinary students, graduate students, and interns
Provide expert consultation and clinical service in Small Animal Internal Medicine within the VTH
Limited participation in Emergency/After-hour service, and expected to support the Community Practice Section
Mentor students, interns, and graduate veterinarians, supporting their academic and professional development
Engage in teaching across all four years of the veterinary curriculum, from foundational sciences to advanced clinical practice
Develop innovative teaching, service, and outreach programs that enhance the Department and College
Participate in collaborative research and creative scholarship at the College, the University, and with external partners
Contribute to community service and outreach consistent with TUCVM’s mission, and serving the region through our VTH
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
DVM (or equivalent) degree required
Demonstrated clinical experience in small animal medicine
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
ACVIM or ECVIM (SAIM) board certification strongly preferred
Candidates who are residency-trained or have significant clinical experience in small animal internal medicine will also be considered
