Responsibilities

Provide the technical definition, activities, and resource planning necessary to execute technical requirements to enforce technical and functional requirements and to identify the need for and ensure the execution of interface agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, and Interconnection Security Agreements
Analyze the establishment of strategic direction, policies, and procedures for the organization's informatics and information systems
Guide the selection, development, and implementation of highly complex, technical systems designed to effectively manage clinical information, data and clinical systems in healthcare or other specialized fields
Coordinate between IT and clinical staff in order to ensure the effective integration of complex systems with other institutional applications and provide strategic and tactical guidance across healthcare accounts

Required

Experience independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare or clinical environment
Experience seeing projects to completion
Experience performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management
Ability to perform as a high-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, CS, or Engineering and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 15+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
