Administrative Technician (Juvenile)- Clerk of Courts
Cumberland County, PA is seeking an Administrative Technician for the Clerk of Courts department. The role involves performing specialized clerical duties, managing juvenile case workloads, and assisting the public with information and payments.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Completes assigned juvenile workload
Creates and processes incoming case packets
Distribute, docket in computerized case management system, scan, and file all correspondence and documents filed with the department
Answers telephone and takes messages or transfers calls to proper individuals
Greets and assists general public by taking or providing information, receiving payments or directing them to proper locations
Prepares and processes required department documents, forms and reports as required
Operates computer, scanner, copier and other office equipment as needed
Expunges cases when ordered by the Court
Attends meetings and/or training sessions as required
Performs other job-related duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent plus some additional secretarial and computer training
3-5 years working experience in an office setting and with the public preferred
Proficient in data entry/typing
Preferred
Legal experience a plus
