Youth Development Specialist (Part-Time) - Arlington Branches

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is seeking highly motivated Youth Development Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with youth and will be responsible for branch programming, youth program quality and branch operations.

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth
Available to work during school year a 2:00pm - 7:00pm schedule, Monday – Friday and during summer, Monday - Friday between 7:30am - 6:00pm
Ability to be a positive role model
Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
Ability to relate to at-risk youth
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must be able to pass all required background screens and drug screens at any time

Preferred

Bilingual
Knowledge of various program areas such as healthy lifestyles, culture and arts, academics, social development, and teen interests
Work experience or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club)
Some positions may require driving a company vehicle. Candidates must have a satisfactory driving record and a valid driver's license for the operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under company insurance. The requirement is for employees to be a minimum of age 21
