Responsibilities
Create and manage capacity and trending reports of system operations
Analyze system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems, and develops/recommends specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems
Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of VMware ESXi, vCenter, NSX and related servers
Perform annual DISA STIGs compliance checks on all VMWare servers and installed software
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in systems administration
HS diploma or GED
Must be Security+ certified
Must hold one of the following VMWare certifications: Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) or Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
Experience installing, testing, tuning, maintaining, hardening, upgrading, patching, designing and documenting supporting systems, utility programs, and monitoring tools for physical hosts and virtual machines running VMWare operating systems on both classified and unclassified networks
Experience with system design, implementation, and support of core Windows server infrastructure/components in the environment desired
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues
Ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations
Must be a US citizen
Must hold a current Secret clearance
