Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced power electronic systems, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, inverters, and motor drives for global applications
Perform system modeling, simulation, and optimization using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or PSpice to achieve high efficiency, reliability, and performance
Build, test, and validate hardware prototypes; implement digital control algorithms; and debug and troubleshoot power converter systems
Work with advanced semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, and wide-bandgap technologies (GaN/SiC)
Design and evaluate magnetics, thermal management solutions, and EMC/EMI-compliant power systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to research and development of next-generation power electronics technologies
Qualification
Required
Strong fundamentals in power electronics, power conversion topologies, and control systems
Solid foundation in control theory, algorithm development, and simulation using MATLAB-based tools
Experience or academic exposure to microcontroller/DSP programming (e.g., Microchip dsPIC, TI, Infineon) using C/C++ or Assembly
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit emulators
Good understanding of DSP concepts, including digital filters and adaptive signal processing
Familiarity with communication interfaces such as I2C, CAN, RS485, Ethernet/LAN, and MODBUS
Knowledge of large-signal stability analysis and feedback loop compensation is an added advantage
Preferred
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
