Responsibilities
The role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, ranging from negotiating and closing joint ventures, M&A, real estate acquisitions, and investment management mandates, to supporting select legal issues at the portfolio company level
This role will also involve maintaining investment funds and their associated offering documents, regulatory compliance matters, and general corporate matters (e.g., corporate governance, vendor contracts, tax, and employment issues)
You will work closely with the firm’s business groups to support their legal needs
Qualification
Required
J.D. degree and 4–6+ years of law firm transactional experience, including due diligence, M&A, real estate acquisitions, and joint ventures
Enjoys fast-paced work environments and having ownership over work projects
A keen eye for detail; efficient and highly productive
Flexible and level-headed, with superior organizational and project management acumen
Preferred
Familiarity with tax structuring and investment advisory issues (e.g., the Investment Advisers Act) is a plus
