Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML models and platforms
Architect end-to-end machine learning solutions including data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML engineers and data scientists
Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions
Select appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and tools to meet performance and business objectives
Monitor model performance and accuracy, and manage model lifecycle including retraining and optimization
Ensure AI/ML solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and governance
Drive adoption of best practices in MLOps, model versioning, CI/CD, and observability
Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives
Support troubleshooting and optimization of production ML systems
Document architectures, processes, and standards to support long-term maintainability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
12+ years of overall IT or software engineering experience, with 6–8+ years in AI/ML-focused roles
Strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and statistical modeling techniques
Experience deploying and managing ML models in production environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong experience with MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, versioning, and retraining strategies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Proven experience serving as a technical lead or leading engineering teams
Preferred
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks
Hands-on exposure to generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and modern AI frameworks
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of responsible AI, model explainability, and data governance practices
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Background in consulting or client-facing roles
Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation tools
