They are seeking a Health + Wellness Summer Intern to support programs and initiatives for Health + Wellness clients, managing account activities and assisting with media coverage and research.

Responsibilities
Manage activities for 1-3 accounts
Monitor client and competitor media coverage and draft coverage recaps for the team
Draft media materials, including but not limited to fact sheets, briefing documents and pitches
Research and develop media lists
Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation
Conduct research to aid in the strategy development process for current clients and new business pitches
Work closely with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business
Qualification
Required
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
Familiar with the public relations, marketing, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences
Basic understanding of social media platforms
MS Office proficiency is a must
Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team
Passion for and understanding of communications and media landscape as it relates to Health + Wellness
