Responsibilities
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial records
Assist with external audits, earnings reviews, tax filings, and lender reporting, including preparation of supporting schedules
Support accounting for equipment sales, service labor, parts, and contract revenue
Manage prepaid expenses and maintain accurate tracking
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Oversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and expense reporting, including inventory reconciliations, reserve analyses, revenue recognition, and adjustments
Perform fixed asset accounting, including schedules and depreciation
Support financial reporting and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Support integration of acquisitions, including chart of accounts and opening balance sheet
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline processes and maintain and strengthen accuracy and internal controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and company policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy with strong organization skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Four or more years of progressive Accounting experience required, including POC accounting
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Preferred
CPA preferred
Prior acquisition, integration, or due diligence experience preferred
