Faculty Physician - Transitional Internal Medicine Residency
Lee Health is expanding its Internal Medicine Residency Program and is seeking a Faculty Physician to join their team. This role involves providing clinical patient care, mentoring residents, and developing the resident evaluation system in collaboration with program leadership.

Responsibilities
Providing clinical patient care and mentoring residents
Serving as an expert competency evaluator
Working closely with the Program Director and Associate Program Director to develop and implement the resident evaluation system
Exemplifying professionalism and a commitment to safe, quality, and cost-effective patient-centered care
Qualification
Required
M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
Current active and unrestricted license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine as applicable, in the State of Florida
Must meet all of the requirements for core faculty members set forth in the Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal Medicine
Preferred
1 year of successful academic experience in graduate medical education
Current certification in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
Prefer educational and administrative experience
