New Grad, Entry LevelPurcell Tire & Rubber Co is dedicated to processing payments and controlling expenses. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling incoming invoices necessary for the company's operations.

Responsibilities
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices/expense reports; record entries
Answer all vendor and store inquiries
Process invoices into computer system
Reconcile statements form vendors
Audit purchasing card paid invoices
File and copy necessary documentation
Perform A/P data entry
Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications
Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This position services Purcell store and center managers and other departments
Computers and Programs — Knowledge and proficient use of computer hardware and software (AS400, Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Accounting software)
Typing – Ability to type at 55 wpm
Calculator – Efficient skill with a calculator
Phone Systems – Ability to operate phone systems for the effective communication of information to interested parties
