Responsibilities
Ensures that all the bookkeeping needs of our clients are met
Record all cash receipts and disbursements in general ledger
Record credit card purchases and work with staff on persevering proper back-up for transactions
Maintain schedules for liabilities and assets with guidance from other NPCM staff
Prepares monthly financial reports for bookkeeping clients, including any custom reporting they have requested
Provides leadership and support to the overall financial review process including designing presentations and reports, variance analysis, forecasting future results
Assist with client requested projects and other ad hoc requests
Assists the client and the NPCM team preparing for each annual audit
Acts as a collaborative team member within the organization
Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Experience in public accounting a big plus
Experience in a role providing financial reporting
Proficiency with Excel
Must organize/prioritize work, manage multiple clients, tasks and projects and function effectively as a small-team member
You must be located within the Eastern or Central Time Zones to be considered for this role
Preferred
Xero and QuickBooks are our primary accounting platforms. Experience using these platforms is preferred, but not required
