Senior Business Development Manager
Komodo is a full service social and influencer marketing agency built around a 'never do normal' philosophy. They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with deep HubSpot CRM expertise to build a best-in-class pipeline engine and drive the outbound strategy while improving revenue conversion.

Responsibilities
Managing and optimising the agency’s HubSpot CRM
Building and maintaining a high-quality new business pipeline
Supporting outbound, inbound, and partner-led lead generation
Bringing category intelligence from the social and influencer space into BD strategy
Ensuring strong visibility over performance, reporting and forecasting
Equipping the BD team with tools, insights, automations and process improvements
Work with leadership to create targeted outreach lists and category-specific prospecting
Conduct strategic research into relevant verticals, brands and opportunities across social and influencer marketing
Support outreach with tailored messaging, credentials, insights and case study packaging
Track all movement through the pipeline with rigour and accuracy
Administer, maintain and optimise the HubSpot CRM working alongside our global hubspot lead
Build workflows, sequences, automations and deal stages to streamline BD activity
Drive data accuracy, segmentation and lead scoring
Manage dashboards, forecasting and BD reporting
Implement CRM best practices to improve conversion and pipeline velocity
Ensure inbound leads are routed, qualified and followed up correctly
Build proactive systems such as radar lists, industry trackers and vertical insights
Analyse pipeline performance to identify weaknesses, opportunities and category trends
Support proposal submissions, RFP organisation and pitch preparation
Own weekly, monthly and quarterly BD performance reporting
Provide insight into lead quality, win/loss trends, conversion rates and pipeline health
Build dashboards that help leadership make informed decisions
Partner with marketing, creative and leadership teams to ensure BD aligns with Komodo’s positioning
Work with client services, project teams and finance to ensure seamless handovers post-win
Support the creation of thought leadership, outbound content and sales collateral
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business development, growth operations, CRM management or revenue operations
Strong, demonstrable HubSpot CRM experience (admin-level preferred)
Solid understanding of the social media, influencer and creator marketing landscape
Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline management
Advanced CRM skills (workflows, automation, segmentation, reporting)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Curious, commercially minded and data-driven
