Deliver engaging, high-quality training that prepares individuals for industry certifications
Use expertise in adult education and public speaking to teach comprehensive health and safety courses
Foster a positive and interactive learning environment
Empower participants to grow in their roles by ensuring they master course material tailored for real-world applications
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in adult education or teaching, with strong public speaking and presentation skills
Excellent organizational abilities to develop and deliver structured lesson plans that meet educational objectives
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to stay updated on industry standards and best practices
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences
Ability to foster a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging participation and understanding
Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting health and safety practices in a way that empowers participants to succeed
Ability to travel across the state of Alaska 5-7 times per year, with trips lasting up to one week each, to support training sessions and project needs in various locations
Preferred
HAZWOPER and OSHA Construction certification preferred; employer will provide training if necessary!
