The Stone Finishing Technician is responsible for safely operating equipment for stone cutting and fabrication, ensuring high-quality finishes while maintaining equipment and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Operate all assigned equipment such as (but not limited to): Grinders, sanders, saws, hammers & chisels, in a safe and proficient manner in accordance with company’s policies, procedures, and directives
Utilize templates provided by Management to ensure finished product meets Management’s and customers’ specifications
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts
Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled and/or required
Finish stone to high quality and appearance standards
Advise branch leadership of any requirements for equipment maintenance and/or repairs
Qualification
Required
Experience in stone cutting and fabrication is a plus but willing to train the right person
Experience operating equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and forklifts
Ability to read and work with templates
Pride in craftsmanship and quality work
Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
High school diploma or equivalent
