Responsibilities
Extract and analyze data by pulling Excel reports from ICONICS web-based BMS software, utilizing techniques such as pivot tables, asset matching, and lookups to optimize LaGuardia Airport operations
Work directly with our Technology team on field technology work supporting hardware and software issues, level 1 and 2 troubleshooting, testing ethernet and fiber optic cables, and managing server rooms
Support management of airport signage, lighting, security systems, and network infrastructure through IoT monitoring and maintenance
Proactively identify software issues and drive them towards resolution while collaborating on workflow creation to increase system engagement
Conduct comprehensive reviews of airport assets, documenting their positions and providing feedback to enhance user interface and engagement
Learn data analysis methodologies for real estate performance metrics and business intelligence reporting practices
Support creation of automated dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to present performance metrics
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis workflows while documenting best practices for performance measurement
Participate in weekly vendor engagement calls and client interface meetings
Support change management efforts by managing access lists, tracking accounts, and ensuring documentation accuracy
Assist team members in efficiently utilizing various software systems for their specific needs
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with 2-3 years completed in finance, economics, data analytics, business, engineering, IT, computer science, or related field
Strong background in data analysis with understanding of IoT (Internet of Things) concepts and statistical analysis methods
Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented accuracy when working with large datasets and technical systems
Ability to work independently, think critically, and manage multiple projects
Desire to learn about business management systems, IoT technology, and data analytics methodologies
Permanent US Work Authorization Required
Preferred
Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, or similar analytical tools
