Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic accounting partner, analyzing financial data to support business decisions and operational improvements
Own and enhance month-end close processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
Prepare and analyze financial statements, trend analyses, and variance reporting for leadership review
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPIs, and standardized financial processes
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and forward-looking financial modeling
Evaluate internal controls and workflows, recommending improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency
Support audits by improving documentation, controls, and reporting consistency
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial data aligns with business strategy and operational goals
Provide guidance and informal leadership to junior accounting staff as processes mature
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of progressive accounting or accounting analysis experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and analytical methodologies
Proven experience improving processes, building workflows, or implementing reporting enhancements
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems required
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate numbers into insights
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a highly collaborative, in-office environment
Preferred
CPA or CPA-track preferred
