Responsibilities
Support new hardware and board bring-ups, including validation and debug activities
Execute RF and hardware validation testing across mobile device prototypes
Isolate root causes for hardware-related issues and partner with RF, software, and tools teams to resolve them
Perform power measurement testing, program and monitor power rails, and inspect hardware schematics
Analyze test data, prepare reports, and clearly communicate findings
Write scripts to automate test suites and improve test and debug efficiency
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven lab environment
Provide occasional on-call or evening support as needed
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience testing mobile devices
Strong familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, and NI power instruments
Experience with RF measurements including P1dB, IIP, noise figure, and S-parameters
Solid understanding of RF receiver architecture and system-level blocks
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and PCB layouts
Experience using Python for test automation
Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams
