This internship will provide hands-on experience in finance and operations, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and data-informed decision-making within the sea freight forwarding business.
Responsibilities
Support leaders with P&L analysis, business performance reporting, and financial insights
Analyze revenues, direct and indirect costs, allocations, and profit margins
Learn key drivers of the top line and collaborate with billing, carrier payables, and Forwarding Subledger (FSL) teams
Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and volume reviews to support tactical decision‑making
Identify process improvement opportunities and conduct root cause analysis
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities using historical data and market insights
Work with large datasets using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and AI tools (including Copilot)
Engage with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and global Sea Logistics teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Interest in logistics, supply chain, or global trade
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to learn in a fast‑paced environment
