Responsibilities

Report daily to, and physically work at, the Customer’s Site
Creates and owns service tickets, via Salesforce, updates and drives the case through closure
Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate cases to higher-level product support groups, to ensure timely resolution of system or customer issues
Troubleshoots and repairs identified hardware issues with focus on responsiveness and communication
Maintains ongoing log documenting issues and resolutions, for tracking and monthly discussion
Participate as part of a team and maintain a good relationship with team members and customers
Occasional travel for training is required

Required

US Citizenship required
3 - 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total)
Experience with hardware repairs and part replacements
Experience installing, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise-level servers, storage, and networking equipment
Experience in large-scale data center environments and/or High Performance Computing (HPC) experience is a plus
Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently, without supervision, and within a team environment
Strong problem solving and self-management skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a multi-technology environment and collaborate across teams
Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and peers
Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Strong desire to learn and improve

Preferred

Previous experience in HPC (High Performance Computing) or other large-scale systems/datacenter experience is a plus
