Operational Key Account Manager

As an Operational Key Account Manager, you will drive operational excellence and process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction while acting as a bridge between customers and operations.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and trust-building
Clarify, negotiate, and formalize operational requirements with customers
Design and implement customer-specific solutions to boost satisfaction and loyalty
Act as a subject matter expert on our service offerings to support new business
Serve as the single point of contact for new business implementations and joint projects
Identify operational risks and communicate them effectively across teams
Represent customer needs within the broader Kuehne + Nagel operational organization
Create and maintain Master Operating Procedures (MOPs) and support local SOPs
Support system setup and process automation initiatives
Define and negotiate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with stakeholders
Develop reports to monitor performance and analyze root causes of non-performance
Present data and insights during global Business Reviews and assist in preparation
Qualification
Required
6+ years of Sea and/or Air Logistics operations, order management systems, and process improvement experience
3+ years experience in an account management role
Experience leading cross functional projects
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred
Project management certifications like PMP or Kaizen beneficial
