Loan Quality Control and Training Specialist

Wheatland Bank, a division of Glacier Bank, is seeking a Loan Quality Control and Training Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to bank policies and federal regulations, providing training to staff, and delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Review the daily new loans report within ten (10) business days per the New Loans Report SOX Control LN2a procedure, Critical Maintenance SOX Control and other Loan Servicing report reviews
Provide training for Loan Servicing staff in relation to errors found during the New Loans Report review on missing SOX items
Work with Wheatland Bank Training Department on training retail staff on taking payments, processing advances, and main contact for Loan Servicing for Retail staff
Review all daily reports in a timely manner according to bank policies and procedures
Input and monitor all force placed insurance
Process payments for PCBB loans
Monitor FSA loan reporting and WCRA loan payments and boarding
Enter and maintain all tax tracking via the bank’s tax tracking software vendor
Provide back up to the Loan Operations Manager for Pre-closing document review verifying accuracy and adherence to conditions of loan approval
Provide back up for collateral perfection including UCC filings and continuations
Participate in special projects as assigned
Scan any supporting documentation to the bank’s electronic filing system as needed
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Complete required bank training within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual's responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to a supervisor for further clarification and additional training

Required

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Loan Servicing position
High school diploma required
Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to find and correct errors
Ability to train others
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc and the ability to learn new systems and applications
Ability to have a broad knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
