Responsibilities
Direct, plan, administer, monitor and evaluate the delivery of imaging services to patients
Recruit, interview, hire and evaluate staff within assigned department
Prepare departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds
Determine and justify needs for equipment purchases, adhere to policies regarding purchases, monitor installations and oversees proper functionality
Develop, implement, and monitor plan for patient care services in assigned department
Serve as an effective liaison between the radiologists, radiology residents, chairperson, radiology staff and other department leaders
Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff
Evaluate and justify equipment and supply needs and purchases, insure maintenance schedules with Bio-Med. Plan for use of space, new equipment, etc
Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
Preferred
MHA, MBA, or MSN Preferred
