Responsibilities
Preparing complex federal and state partnership and individual tax returns
Working extensively with K‑1‑intensive and private equity-related filings
Managing high‑volume returns
Reviewing and organizing K‑1s and supporting documentation
Preparing and tracking California e‑filing payment schedules
Gathering tax information, tracking deadlines, and supporting compliance from start to finish
Handling some tax administration (about 20% of the role) as part of owning the full process
Working directly with clients to follow up on open items and provide status updates
Supporting a variety of engagements in a generalist, collaborative environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of tax experience
Strong experience with partnership and individual returns
Exposure to K‑1 reporting (high‑volume K‑1 experience a plus)
Background in public accounting or a public/private mix
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines
Preferred
CPA or MST preferred, not required
