Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining applications to support regulatory capital reporting, ensuring compliance with Basel rules
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and migrate to a scalable and sustainable capital reporting platform
Writing optimized and efficient Python code for data processing, performance tuning, and system integration
Implementing data source elements and business logic for calculating risk-weighted assets and generating Basel rules-based capital ratios
Troubleshooting, debugging, and perform performance profiling for data-intensive applications
Ensuring high-quality code through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in Python development, with 4+ years in big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop
Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of data-intensive applications
Experience with SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata
