Responsibilities
Gather and review employee timekeeping data for accuracy and completeness
Contact department supervisors to resolve missing or incorrect time entries
Process weekly payroll data transfers through Paylocity
Obtain management approval for payroll payments when required
Issue manual checks as needed
Collect and verify timekeeping data for contracted associates
Submit accurate weekly hours to the accounting department and staffing agencies
Generate accounts payable check requests for staffing agencies
Compile payroll data including garnishments, vacation time, insurance, labor allocation, and 401(k) deductions
Maintain and update salary adjustments in accordance with union contracts and review schedules
Track and report PTO, paid leave, vacation, and holiday usage
Maintain professional relationships with union officials and comply with labor contract terms, including union dues processing
Manage Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges efficiently
File appeals, organize termination documentation, and coordinate with required parties
Greet and assist job applicants, employees, department heads, and external agencies
Communicate HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Answer and route phone calls to appropriate departments as needed

Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Strong communication and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years of payroll experience
