Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies. Including but not limited to automatic pin placing machines, automatic scorers, and ball returns
Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, but referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gages
Repairs cracks, chips, and splinters in bowling pins and lanes, using wood plastic and lane stock, sands surfaces, and recoat them with appropriate finishes
Determines which mechanical assemblies are malfunctioning, what parts and mechanisms can be reworked or should be replaced with new parts, and the types of adjustments and alignments required
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Work experience directly related to the duties describe above
Knowledge of electrical principles and operating characteristics of electrical and electronic components for application as in the duties described

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation

Preferred

3 to 4 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience
1 to 2 years Electrical Maintenance Experience
