They are looking for an ambitious, career-minded college student to join their Mill Accounting Department for a full-time summer internship that offers hands-on experience in financial operations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Support the Mill Accounting team with daily financial tasks, month-end reporting, and account reconciliations
Assist in tracking production costs and analyzing financial data within specialized manufacturing ERP software
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand the intersection of paper production, recycling logistics, and finance
Assist in identifying efficiencies within the accounting workflow to support the mill’s high-output operations
Miscellaneous tasks that support the function and operations of the Accounting team as requested
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program majoring in Accounting
Completion of Cost Accounting coursework is required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Eager to learn complex accounting and production software
Openness to learning and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI); we will provide training on how to leverage AI tools to enhance accounting workflows and data efficiency
Ability to commute daily to the Wapakoneta, OH facility during business hours
A 'teachable' mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally in an office and industrial setting
Preferred
Previous internship or project work involving financial analysis
An interest in the manufacturing or recycling industries
