This role involves preparing detailed design drawings and collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure project deliverables are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities
Perform design, drafting, and project-related tasks
Prepare detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
Conform to the company´s standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures
Work with project teams, including Engineers, Designers, and other Drafters, to ensure coordination of design effort to ensure project completion
Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased
Perform other tasks related to the role
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Ability to work as a team player and interact well with others
2-3 years of related experience, specifically in New Jersey–based projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and assume increased responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision
Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet
Candidates must be currently located in New Jersey (NJ) or willing to relocate to New Jersey
Preferred
Experience in site/civil, land development, and/or municipal engineering drafting preferred
