Vice President of Chatham Place Assisted Living Community

Chatham Place at Mary Wade is seeking a Vice President to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living Services Agency, including Memory Care. The role involves coordinating service delivery, driving occupancy, managing staff and budgets, and ensuring quality resident care.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and integrates delivery of all services relevant to the ALSA and memory care facility. The Director will drive the development, implementation, evaluation, and day-to-day delivery of all services including but not limited to:
Responsible for driving occupancy through the development of strong working relationships within the local community, with residents and families
Collaborate with Marketing and Development on fundraising, marketing activities and events for the community
Review employee issues and resident challenges and complaints continuously; communicate plan of correction in a timely manner, implement corrective action in a timely manner; drive ongoing quality improvement program
Ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times
Monitor monthly budget and review variances with CEO and CFO
Provide regular reports to the CEO regarding all successes and issues associated with resident care and provision of services
Actively fosters connection between the Chatham Place the rest of the Mary Wade campus for the purpose of creating one unified organization
Oversee the hiring of department heads and staff in collaboration with Human Resources dept
Other duties as dictated by needs of the ALSA and the entire campus
Promotes quality resident service and amenities by incorporating the organization’s mission and standards of care
Establish policies that govern residents' right to quality of life and care as defined by the residents' comprehensive assessment and care plan

Qualification

CALA CertificationAssisted Living ExperienceHealthcare Management DegreeInterpersonal SkillsSupervisory ExperienceSensitivity to Elderly NeedsCommunication Skills

Required

CALA Certified with a minimum of 5 years Assisted Living / Memory Care experience
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience with developing and maintaining productive working relationships with board members, families, donors, and administration
Sensitivity to the needs of the elderly in a healthcare setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Previous supervisory experience a plus
