Responsibilities

Refine and execute CHAI’s internal AI strategy in alignment with organizational priorities
Evaluate, select, and manage a portfolio of AI tools and platforms that meet internal team needs
Monitor emerging AI technologies and assess their potential for operational and programmatic applications
Work with the IT Team to integrate, maintain, and scale approved AI technologies
Develop frameworks, playbooks, and best practices to institutionalize AI strategy and support continuous improvement
Design and deliver training programs to build AI literacy across program and country teams
Drive change management strategies to support responsible AI adoption across teams with varying levels of knowledge in AI
Establish and track KPIs to measure AI adoption, engagement, and demonstrable improvements in productivity and impact
Partner with CHAI’s Innovation Team and programmatic or functional teams to identify high-value AI use cases, as well as proactively identify opportunities to embed AI into workflows
Provide hands-on technical and advisory support to teams developing AI-enabled solutions for high-priority use cases
Partner with IT Team and programmatic or functional teams to integrate AI into existing systems and workflows
Manage relationships with AI vendors, consultants, and external technology partners

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer or Data Science, Public Health, or a related field (Master's in Public Health or Public Policy is a plus)
5–7 years of experience in technology or digital transformation program management, including leading cross-functional technology adoption initiatives
2+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI tools (particularly LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude) and platforms, with a strong understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and integration requirements
Experience with enterprise-wide AI evaluation, procurement, deployment, and governance in complex organizations
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills in fast-paced, results-oriented environments
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language and influence stakeholders across diverse teams
Passion for technology and a strong belief that GenAI can enhance productivity and impact of work
Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10%

Preferred

Experience in global health, public health, international development, or other mission-driven organizations
Knowledge of regulatory environments, health data privacy and security, and AI policy development in LMICs
Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks and ethical considerations in healthcare and development contexts
