Systems Engineer (Entry to Senior Level) - Clearance Required
Cydecor, Inc. is a premier Federal Government solutions provider, delivering innovations in mission systems and business platforms. They are seeking Systems Engineers to provide full-lifecycle engineering support to the U.S. Navy’s PMW 160 Tactical Networks program, focusing on the development, integration, modernization, and sustainment of enterprise-scale shipboard LAN/WAN systems.

Responsibilities
Support PMW 160 Tactical Networks across the full system lifecycle:
Provide full systems engineering support from requirements, design, integration, test, deployment, and sustainment
Develop, evaluate, and transition innovative technical concepts, engineering approaches, and new capabilities
Support long-term technical roadmaps, strategic initiatives, Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) updates, and automation initiatives
Identify, develop, update, and manage system requirements and statutory/regulatory documentation
Decompose high-level requirements into functional definitions and verifiable specifications
Develop operational, system, and technical architecture artifacts for current and future baselines
Create and maintain engineering artifacts including: Functional Specs, RTMs, ICDs, SSDDs, CICDs, SVDDs, SDMs, TDPs, POA&Ms, BOMs, engineering cost estimates, system design documents, and schedules
Prepare and coordinate Functional Baseline Configuration (FBC) packages for Program of Record (POR) baselines
Create, track, and document Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Problem Reports (EPRs)
Conduct trade studies and Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) for hardware/software solutions
Perform technical studies to evaluate system concepts, performance, and Key Performance Parameters (KPPs)
Support prototype development, integration, and testing using Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Assess the impacts of emerging technologies on fielded systems
Support Agile development planning, backlog refinement, sprint tracking, and reporting tools
Participate in technical exchanges to maintain/update requirements throughout the lifecycle
Support Human Systems Integration (HSI) roadmaps and implementation
Qualification
Required
0–3 years of relevant systems engineering or technical experience for Systems Engineer I (Entry Level)
Ability to support requirements updates, artifact development, and engineering reviews for Systems Engineer I (Entry Level)
Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, or system lifecycle concepts for Systems Engineer I (Entry Level)
3–7 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or requirements management for Systems Engineer II (Mid Level)
Ability to independently develop engineering artifacts (ICDs, RTMs, SSDDs) for Systems Engineer II (Mid Level)
Experience supporting Agile environments and configuration processes for Systems Engineer II (Mid Level)
7–12 years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD/Navy programs for Systems Engineer III (Senior Level)
Demonstrated ability to lead requirements decomposition, architecture development, and major technical documents for Systems Engineer III (Senior Level)
Experience conducting trade studies, AoAs, integration planning, and risk assessments for Systems Engineer III (Senior Level)
12+ years of advanced systems engineering, architecture, or technical leadership experience for Systems Engineer IV (Senior-Lead Level)
Ability to lead SE activities across multiple product lines, baselines, or modernization efforts for Systems Engineer IV (Senior-Lead Level)
Experience advising government leadership on strategy, capability insertion, modernization, and technical risk for Systems Engineer IV (Senior-Lead Level)
Active Secret clearance required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, or related field for Level 1–4
Equivalent military or technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree for senior positions
Preferred
Experience with Navy tactical networks
Experience with NIWC PAC/LANT, shipboard integration, or Fleet introduction processes
Familiarity with DoD 5000, RMF, SEPs, POA&Ms, and ACAT program documentation
Agile/Scrum experience; ability to build reporting tools/dashboards
Experience with ECPs, engineering baselines, and configuration management
