Responsibilities

Mentor and stabilize a growing HR team

Serve as a true thought partner to operations leadership

Focus on strategy and leadership rather than transactional HR work

Support 9 furniture manufacturing plants across multiple locations

Partner directly with the Director of Operations and senior plant leadership

Play a key role in employer-of-choice strategy

Workforce retention and upskilling

Leadership capability development

Provide stability and consistency

Provide clear leadership expectations

Provide mentorship and development for emerging HR leaders

Act as a trusted advisor helping push operations forward while ensuring decisions stay within appropriate boundaries

Required

At least 3 years of in-depth supervisory experience

Ability to think strategically and delegate effectively

Experience leading larger HR teams

Experience transitioning from individual contributor to enterprise-level leader

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry

Willingness to relocate from outside West Michigan
